Luis' first film was a short he wrote and directed titled Differently Able. About two brothers, Luis described it as "an observation of power, care-giving and perversity." Shot in three days in Luis' apartment in Red Hook, the two brothers were played by Luis and myself, (William Murchu.) Neither of us had ever acted before. Luis had originally planned to develop Differently Able into a feature, hoping he could get Steve Buscemi and Rockets Redglare to take over our parts.
